About Marco Fabbro

Marco Fabbro has formal qualifications in the environmental sciences and has studied fine art at Julian Ashton art school Sydney.

He has designed, developed and commercially applied a uniquely Australian environmentally themed craft works and decorative lighting concepts.  He seeks to gain a balance between exploring creative connection with nature and maintaining a rational understanding of the environment  and its processes.

Since formulating and appling  several creative environmental education and interpretation projects on the North Coast NSW during the early 1990’s, Marco has combined  light and natural elements in  decorative functional elements that to bring focus to natural form and environmental  processes.

Marco has exhibited in Italy and Hong Kong and has represented Australia at the International Sculpture Symposium held in Canada in 2002.

He has produced and directed public  "inter-art" collaborations with community based performing and projection artists in cooperation with local government.
